Of all the professions perhaps it is the lawyers for whom the need of privacy is the primary critical requirement. The nature of their work makes client confidentiality a key requirement for any coworking space to be mindful and offer. 50% of the Law industry in US is solo attorneys and small firms who not only find many office facilities expensive but also having to juggle between courts, legal hubs, government offices and often need office for an afternoon or somewhere near the courts and hubs they often have to visit once in a while. Lawyers also collaborate the most, especially when their clients need legal advice from domain other than their own, having fellow lawyers under the same roof helps. Additionally requirements such as paralegal support, disposition rooms are specific to lawyers only requirements and it is not always worthwhile for a coworking space to provide these. Hence often lawyer centric coworking spaces are founded by lawyers themselves or mushroom out of existing law firms with extra space.
